We love stuffed things - from Haggis - roasted into this birdbox made from stuffing, to Cornish Pasties, and our own more local east London fare, Pie, Mash and liquor (which isn't in this assemblage, there's only so much stodge we can take). A quick nod towards the obligatory side salad, and we're off.

The walls have come down, and the interior becomes exterior. Openness and sharing, I’m seeing the sort of family home that is literally overstuffed, bursting at the seams with people and their comings and goings. Growing up an only child, the hustle and bustle of such a dynamic is alien to me, but I’ve certainly seen it employed elsewhere. Some people are willing to bare all, and others closely guard their privacy, and indeed we were not the sort of family that really had anything to do with the neighbours, other than the occasional Christmas card or good morning.

The proximity of our homes to those of others is quite interesting, and indeed much social commentary has been made regarding such matters. What really goes on behind the net curtains? Our homes are an extension of ourselves, and so much can be read into the placement of objects or the state of the garden. Ultimately there is something baked into this particular house, despite the stuffing being visible, and even the most accommodating of families have their secrets.
