a small life story
I currently work within a range of strands, engaging with objects and installations in a socially-engaged practice. I have a penchant for birdboxes, shrines, vanitas and memoria. The material and metaphoric qualities of objects either existing, or of my own making, aim to convey humorous perspectives on futility and frustration. I'm interested in the relationship between word and image, the context of the object, and the remnants of the lifespan of some very short-lived works.
I'm opportunistic, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, have been told I'm a good listener and make a nice cup of tea.
